From the outset, we are implementing sustainable solutions for our application library, hardware toolset, basic quantum algorithms, and training activities.

All-level Support for Quantum Technologies
Quantum-enhanced applications combine classical computing methods with the advantages of quantum technologies. The increased performance resulting from this combination will accelerate the deployment of hybrid quantum computing solutions across a wide range of scientific and industrial fields.
Through our one-stop shop for quantum-enhanced applications, we bring together leading scientific institutions and companies from the European quantum community. Together, we aim to create a user-oriented, holistic service portfolio encompassing support services as well as access to quantum software and hardware.

What Do We Offer?
We provide a library of hardware-agnostic applications that can be executed on QC emulators running on EuroHPC JU supercomputers. QEC4QEA also offers a comprehensive suite of hardware-specific compilers and execution APIs for selected quantum computers (QCs), hybrid infrastructures, and QC emulators.
In addition, we deliver benchmarking tools and curated access to high-performance computing (HPC) and quantum infrastructures across Europe. A tailored educational programme including workshops and hybrid HPC-QC courses will enable users to build expertise in quantum-enhanced solutions. This will be complemented by an advanced help desk providing direct access to high-level support teams.
The applications offered on the platform are based on leading quantum algorithms suitable for both quantum computers (QCs) and quantum-enhanced HPC systems. They focus on the following domains:
- Information Processing: Quantum electrodynamics simulations
- Finance and Insurance: Stochastic models for risk analysis and financial crash prediction
- Mechanical Engineering: Manufacturing simulation applications
- Chemistry and Biology: Quantum molecular unfolding and docking
