Role within QEC4QEA
We aim to advance quantum algorithms for chemistry by developing efficient, chemically accurate ansätze suitable for near-term quantum computers. The focus is on lowering resource needs while preserving accuracy for application-driven use cases, including drug discovery and molecular imaging. Building on our ongoing “ansatz factory,” we will translate recent theoretical advances into robust workflows for hybrid quantum-classical pipelines, targeting real-world implementations on both gate-based quantum hardware and analog quantum simulators, and establishing a systematic study of hardware-aware, application-oriented chemistry ansätze.
