E4 Computer Engineering is the ideal strategic partner for tackling the most complex computational challenges and exploring future scenarios. With over 20 years of experience and a consolidated ecosystem of alliances, E4 Computer Engineering designs, implements, and supports advanced computing infrastructures, accompanying partners and customers in the evolution of convergence between HPC, AI, and Quantum Computing.
Role within QEC4QEA
E4 Computer Engineering will collaborate in WP3 by contributing to activities on quantum molecular unfolding and docking (T3.3), as well as integer factoring (T3.6). Within WP4, E4 will support efforts related to end user identification (T4.1), drawing on its deep understanding of the needs of the HPC community, developed over more than twenty years of experience in advanced computing. In WP5, E4 will be involved in training activities and knowledge transfer (T5.1), as well as user engagement (T5.2). Moreover, in WP6, E4 will contribute to the identification of synergies between projects and programmes (T6.1), lead the task focused on sharing resources and knowledge across initiatives (T6.2), and participate in communication and dissemination activities (T6.4 and T6.5). E4 has a strong history of participation in HPC community forums. An example is HiPEAC, where E4 regularly organizes workshops in collaboration with other Centres of Excellence, playing a key role in fostering synergies across European initiatives.
