A ONE-STOP SHOP FOR QUANTUM EXCELLENCE
The potential applications of quantum computers are diverse and range across areas such as data security, materials science, and drug development. However, developing computers that are tailored to these specific applications requires a centralised quantum infrastructure as well as close coordination between research and industry.
This is precisely where QEC4QEA comes into play: The project seeks to build a one-stop-shop for quantum-enhanced applications offering:
- a hardware-agnostic application library
- benchmarking tools
- curated access to both high-performance computing and quantum infrastructures across Europe
- a dedicated training programme and help desk, supporting scientists and developers in building and integrating quantum solutions.

From Computing Science to Societal Impact
By providing hardware-agnostic quantum applications together with training and support on a single platform, QEC4QEA strengthens Europe's shared expertise in high-performance and quantum computing across science and industry. The project fosters a transnational, highly skilled user community, enabling Europe to strengthening and expanding its leadership in this transformative field.

EUROHPC JU
The QEC4QEA project is part of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. Established in 2018, the initiative brings together the European Union, European countries and private partners to combine resources with the goal of advancing Europe's leadership in supercomputing. By fostering scientific excellence and industrial competitiveness, EuroHPC plays a decisive role in both accelerating the digital transformation of the European economy and safeguarding its technological sovereignty.
